About Us

What do we do?

From hidden waterfalls to white sand beaches these tours are unlike any other on this island (Tours are intimate and small, the maximum number of people on a tour is 4 so no big tour busses). If this is the only thing you do in Hawaii then it will still be worth it! We know the best routes to some of the most beautiful hikes on Oahu. We are locals and we really know these trails and beaches well. During a hike we love to point out birds, animals, and special vegetation on the way as well, like mushrooms and flowers. From beginning to end you will really love our tour. We like to make our guests feel at home like they are traveling with an old friend. Feel free to ask us about anything and we will tell you all about our island and what you need to see and do! Each tour is tailored to your specific wants and needs. This is your vacation and we want to make it special. Mahalo for choosing us to show you these special places we hold close to our heart.

Next we head down the road to see some tide pools at breathtaking Makapu’u. Then we check out a hidden cove beach we can hike down to or just enjoy the lookout. Finally we end at a beach just outside of Waikiki where the locals hang out. You can stay here for sunset or I can drop you back off at your hotel. (Ask if we can stop at my favorite beach!)

“Kristin was amazing and so was this tour! She took us on a nice hike to an incredible waterfall. We were the only ones there and it was pretty magical. Not something we would have found on our own. The beach spot was great too! The music she played along the way was fire too”

FAQ

Frequently Ask Questions

Things to keep in mind!

Please wear comfortable closed toed shoes for the hiking portion of the tour. I recommend hiking shoes or boots or athletic shoes with a grippy sole. You can also wear water shoes if you like because we will be crossing water.

Also please bring a change of shoes for after the hike. Flip flops or sandals for the beach.

You will need two pairs of shoes!

Yes, please wear your bathing suit. There will not be any place to change during the tour. You might want to swim at the waterfall and beach.

For lunch we stop at my favorite cafe which offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options if necessary. They sell amazing food and coffee/beverages. Lunch is not included in the price but is very reasonable esspecial for Hawaii!

Please bring a backpack (not a shoulder bag) A shoulder bag might throw you off balance. Bring water, snacks, and a towel.

The hike depends on your skill level and what you are looking for. I rotate about 4 different waterfalls and try to choose the best one for you! The shortest hike is about 20 mins to the falls. Usually it takes us about 30-40 mins depending on speed. The longest hike takes about 50 mins. I would say average about 30 mins and we relax at the falls for a bit and head back. (Round trip about an hour or more) Nothing too crazy!

I like to leave the beach around 2pm. So we tend to get back around 2:30/3pm the latest.
